The Movie

I can't post spoilers since we're hopefully gonna talk about it at the end of the podcast on Friday, but I do want to say that I liked it. And, oh, Kingsley rules!

I like the music too, will see if I get a chance to go somewhere that sells the soundtrack so I can pick it up.

Or go to Amazon. *grin*

I thought most of the new characters did a great job. Looking forward to hearing what you thought of it.

I liked the movie--the acting was so much better!--but PoA still holds the #1 spot in my heart. I hated it the first time I saw it, but now can appreciate it for being so very true to the story.

I think it helped immensely that the OotP screenplay was NOT written by Kloves.

P.S. I hear they have the soundtrack at Target.

*grin* not the same though. I always find that nothing beats that anticipation of driving home and putting the CD into the stereo to listen to it. With amazon, it takes days, that's just too long, lol.

Yes, they did. Even Umbridge, from an acting point of view, she was fantastic.

Yeah, I'm not sure what it was, but I think it was the best HP movie yet. I couldn't even find anything to gripe about the music, which is unusual, but the new composer did a fine job incorporating the HP theme as well as come up with some original goodness.
I must check out Target then - I keep forgetting it's around the corner, LOL!

She really "became" Umbridge. Poor woman will be hated by legions of young children after this. It will be interesting to see if her performance receives the recognition it deserves come awards time.

Borders has it... and I guess I'm lucky having a CD player in my car... lol... it goes well with my lack of patience *snort*
