Ah...a connoisseur, then! I don't know the vineyard or name, but Sam's (of all places, right?!) did have a reasonably-priced Haut-Médoc. I think it was less than $40. Do you have a Sam's near you? Or a World Market? We like the variety at World Market, even if the selection is a bit slim.

(Of course, I don't know much about wine! We like Merlot, Syrah and Shiraz, and the occasional chianti.
