From about May at the latest, the average is low to high 30s Celsius. Goes up to 40 and over in July/August/September. Last year's summer lasted from about late March to mid-November, but we've been assured that wasn't normal.

At the moment, we're watching with fascination as the Mississippi River inches its way up and up, slowly flooding river-level roads... That isn't normal either, apparently.
