The only time I make bread products is for Thanksgiving or for Christmas--for 'family' meals. AND since I live in a house with no central heat, I have found that outside temperature DOES play a role on whether the bread dough will rise properly or not. *grumbles* 2 years in a row, unexpected cold fronts have killed my contribution to the feast.

And since I have no central air, I find that baking in the middle of summer is simply adding fuel to the already raging inferno that is our temperature. *sigh* It's midnight and STILL 80 degrees...

And people wonder why I claim to live in Hell.
