I'm so excited about this... I've been following the progress of the LHC in my science magazines. Perhaps I'll stay up and watch online tonight. Although they won't begin colliding for a few weeks yet, from the sounds of it. I'm holding out hope that some of the findings will eventually lead us to the discovery of an entirely new dimension. Sweet.

The report I saw this morning said it will take two weeks for it to get up to speed. I then read the first real experiment is to take place on Oct. 21st.
