We're off to the Ozarks for a couple of days. If I find any 'shrooms, I'll picspam. I also have hope to find Severus' Patronus. And maybe some other wild critters.

You know, it was your post a few months back when you were saying sub!hub had booked a cabin that inspired me. I figured not far, woods, mountains = possible mushroom hunting and definite nature. And I've been missing the woods so badly lately - it's been nearly three years that I picked 'shrooms in the wild, far too long for me.

So we booked a hotel in Mountain Home. I don't know if we find 'shrooms - it's been freaking hot over there, too, and I'm not yet familiar with the way the 'shroom fairy works. But it's a start. We'll check out the area and make plans for a week's holiday in October or so. And over the holidays. In a cabin so we can cook our finds. I'm totally excited about it, lol.

Mountain Home is in a beautiful part of the world, for sure. We spent our first wedding anniversary at Bull Shoals, which is nearby, if my mental geography is intact. I hope you find some lovely solitude - and some 'shrooms, LOL!

Telling from the pics I saw on the internets, I absolutely believe you! Yes, Bull Shoals is one of the places we're planning to visit - it is not far.
