This was wonderful. I thought it was Arthur at first. Then, as you revealed Lucius, I figured that as the reason for Weasley family poverty. But hair as the deciding factor was a surprise. It fits so well with all Malfoy animosity towards the Weasleys, and their derogatory comments about red hair.
