Yeah, the main reason we decided on this apartment is because it has a fireplace. ROFL. What a way to choose a place to live in...

We picked our first apartment on the basis of the gorgeous, large cast iron claw foot tub it had.

It's a mark of how much I adore you that I allowed you to take photos of me... I'm usually better at destroying the evidence of my hideousness.

I get to see you at last! You're so pretty - especially with your cool glasses - they really suit you! Do you and sis look quite alike? I can't really tell. I am also liking the awesomely plucked eyebrows!:)

LOL - the eyebrows are courtesy of the salon down the corner where the Vietnamese women do incredible things with wax...

You're very kind... I, of course, hate everything about the way I look. (If my chin were any pointier, I would skewer passersby with it!) I do like those glasses, however. But I'm going for a LASIK consultation in a couple weeks and hoping I'm a good candidate for the procedure. I'm blind as a bat without contacts/glasses, and I think it would be SOOOO amazing to be able to do impressive things like see in the shower (ask me how many times I've conditioned my hair with body soap...) and wear swanky sunglasses throughout our long Texas summers...

I'm so with you on the vision thing. I can't see the top line on the eye chart clearly until I am a few feet away LOL. Haven't done the conditioner/body soap thing, different colour bottles helps!

more picspam to fuel the flames of my envy. (btw, while in college i once chose a dorm room because it had a fireplace even though i wasn't allowed to actually have a fire in it. lol!)
