If reviewers all actually offered concrit, I would absolutely agree with you. Unfortunately, what some perceive as offering "concrit" comes down to personal preferences most of the time. I don't care for those types of reviews in the least. I don't deny that I love genuine squee reviews. If reading my writing makes someone feel happy, leaves them content to have invested their time with reading that particular piece, then I'm a happy writer. Of course, if those kinds of reviews are fake (and some of them are, and it doesn't take much to figure out), then I simply shrug. Concrit I appreciate most from the people I admire, and thankfully, I have quite a few I can turn to and know that I'll get an honest, constructive opinion. :)
