Cheeeeeese!

I have lots more snow than that. Lots more. *scuttles off to take pictures*

Did you take pics? *wants to see*

Yes, cheese! Surprising, isn't it? *snickers*

I think tomorrow will be a paneer-making sort of day. It freezes well. And then we can be sure we'll have enough for the Indian food orgy, lol.

I did take a few, need to upload them.

I'm going to the Memphis Roller Derby birthday bash on the 14th, apparently! I have a friend from one of my boards in Memphis too, and she's one of the referees. Now to figure out what to wear. :D

I live about 1 1/2 hours south of Vox up there *points to above comment* so I won't bother with pics. But I have to say, for me - living in the horrid, horrid, Michigan arctic up here - the prettiest thing about that snow picture is your dry and clear road! LOL

LOL! I guess I'd feel the same if I lived up there... Although I'd have winter anytime over humid summers *sighs*

To risk sounding naughty...

I covet your cheese!

[identity profile] lady-karelia.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
Considering what I write these days, I think naughty is perfectly appropriate! *grins*

Want some? I'll be happy to send you a jar. :)

[identity profile] ofenjen.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
I would SO be willing to send you something crafty in exchange for a jar of cheese. Nomnomnom! Does it travel well?

~nods~ I marinade it in herbs and olive oils once it has cured in bring. Email me your addy. ladyinthecloak at gmail or yahoo dot com (either is fine).

I'm all excited now!

Mmmmm. Yummy feta cheese. Some day I hope to try some of your awesome looking cheese.

Snow in Memphis. We have about a foot on the ground in northern Ohio right now.

The snow was all gone by midday, although it never rose above 32 or thereabouts. *shrugs* For once I'm glad I got up earlier than usual; it was a really pretty sight. :)

[identity profile] stefdarlin.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 06:27 am (UTC)(link)
The cheese looks tasty though I have never tried feta before. But the way you describe it makes my mouth water. =o)

I am really wishing I could come to squeefest. *Growls at RL.* It sounds like so much fun, and the extra perk is, I would get to meet all of you. *Sigh*

The snow looks lovely, we don't get that here. Go figure, lol.

[identity profile] lady-karelia.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 07:15 am (UTC)(link)
Store-bought feta is usually rather salty. I pride myself in making less-salty feta. LOL

Oh, it would be soooooooo lovely if you could come! Mind you, it's only the first in hopefully a whole lot of them this year! So if this one doesn't work, maybe one of the next ones will.

Goodie!! I will keep my fingers crossed. I do hope the year starts looking up very soon. I don't want to spend every vacation at home. *Pout*
