I have written 3,321 of however many words it takes.
Judging by the plot, I figure I'm about roughly one third done.

After hitting Total Panic Stage nearly a week ago, from which [livejournal.com profile] machshefa and [livejournal.com profile] pyjamapants rescued me with kind words and constructive advice, I've finally been making some real progress. Then I realised that something was missing, and when I was eventually able to pinpoint what it was, things kinda started looking up. I'm not sure yet how well it'll turn out, but it certainly has been a very interesting learning experience. One thing I've learned is that I'll never again assume it'll be a "straight-forward" fic to write. I don't think I can do straight-forward. At all. Ever.

Thanks! I normally am not this prone to panicking. Don't know what the heck is wrong. *grumbles*
