Congrats! I barely got past my 500 (558, I think) but that involved finding the right dialogue for the guy to say, and several false starts. By the time I found it, it was 8:30 last night and I was too tired to keep going, but I'm hoping that today I can proceed with less struggle (knock wood).
Some days I find really hard, and in that sense, 5 for five really help, even though I don't manage 500 words every day, but at the end of the week, I've been having 2500+, so I guess that counts... LOL
Thank you. I feel that way, too, where writing is concerned. Housework, laundry, though? Not so much *makes note to reissue Imperio on hubby to do the chores*

You've beaten me since. *grumbles* I've spent all of my computer time betaing today and am still not done. Haven't looked at the Q in two days either...
We are evenly matched then. I'm at work 7 1/2 hrs a day and have been out dancing three nights this week. Was planning to wrote one sentence last night just to say I had done something, at 2am had done 1128 words and had to get up at 0730... oops. Happy hour tonight, so no writing, dance tomorrow night and end-of-yeartax returns to do... dammit, you may just catch up! *evilly thinking of delaying tactics* :P
You have a couple of other writing deadlines looming, though, don't you? That's probably enough to keep you busy. haha (as if you have trouble keeping busy) And I know you've been asked to beta at least one of the SBB fics. :)
As for the cheerleading, it's great to have somebody that you feel it's 'okay' -- indeed, expected -- to bounce ideas off of.
