I've been gifted

and must squee.

*SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*

OMG isn't it absolutely gorgeous? I didn't hold out much hope for that particular prompt to be picked because, well, Hundertwasser isn't that well known, and his work probably has at least as many opponents as fans. But lookie what this talented artist did!

Please go and admire my gift here and leave some love for the mystery artist.

*grins* Can you tell I'm happy?

Your prompt was the only one I would have felt able to respond to if I'd taken part in the exchange. I love Hundertwasser :-)

It's so awesome- I'm particularly impressed with the transparent bits. I was certain to leave your artist lots of love! What a great gift!

Oh, you are so lucky! It is beautiful.

Ah, how neat is that!!! Have you ever visited any of his buildings? It's one regret I have - not going to Vienna while I was in Germany... I've had Hundertwasser calendars for years, no matter where I lived. :-)

It is totally awesome *nods*. I can't even tell what I love most about it, the colouring, the linear-ish style, the angle. And I thought their facial expressions were wonderful, too!

What's more, I was completely surprised that this particular prompt was chosen. I had put it as almost an afterthought and didn't think anyone would answer it. *squees happily*

*agrees* I want a house like that.

Aren't I? *smug look* LOL It's given me new ideas for when I'm rich how to plan the building of my own home. ;-)

My dad has books of Hundertwasser paintings. Actually, one book is old enough that it's signed Stowasser:-)

As a kid, I'd spend hours looking at those books, they just called to me.
