Well no turtles or tortoises, but a nice walk to and along the river. Alas, there’ll be another day for wildlife. Today, the heat’s been getting at us a bit. Not that it’s hot yet, but if you’d spent the last few years in England, with one of the longest cold spells recently, you’d probably too find 25 C quite hot. It rarely reaches that in the summer in England *snicker*.
I’m hoping to be able to upload lots of pictures, if I manage, which entirely depends on the internet connection here, then they’ll be here:

The river is, of course, the Kabul River, but I’m sure eventually we’ll be visiting the Indus River somewhere, so there’ll be more pictures of big rivers.
Can’t tell yet whether the Bazaars will be an option tomorrow. Today, everything is on strike, shops are closed, as are schools and colleges, and only very few buses are around *sigh*. We can hope, I guess.
