The next con I'm not attending really started off on Friday for me when ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
dragonsinger954 stopped in Memphis on her way to VA, and we had dinner together. We had a great time, and by the time she'd left, I was really in the meet-more-friends mode again.:)
Monday was a kind of no-day. We were going to leave then, but DB got stuck on the phone, and eventually, it was late enough for me to refuse to leave, so instead, we left yesterday. I woke up with a screaming headache, which lasted for the better part of the day. It finally, gradually, improved once we crossed the bridge into IL. The weather also improved gradually all the way, and by the time it was about 6pm, we turned off the a/c in the car. Got to the hotel at 11 or thereabouts, and it took me, uh, a few hours to wind down enough to go to sleep.
Today, Little Man and I went to Gurnee Mills to meet up withshalimar1981, Mini-Shal and geminiscorp and her youngest. We all had such a great time that nobody thought of taking pics. LOL. As usual, time flew by, and before we knew it, it was time to part again. But at least we'll see one another again tomorrow, at the Hilton. Now, I better figure out how to use the public transport here...
