X-Myth Shopping
Dec. 23rd, 2004 04:40 pmI've done it *phew*. Went to town, witched a parking space, put my cloak on and hit the shops. 3 hours later, all was done and now I'm exhausted and only good for vegetating in front of computer. Sorry kidz, you'll have to entertain yourselves for the next couple of hours while I'll be busy vegetating *snigger*. The only item I didn't find, despite having looked for it for the past 3 months, is the game 'Rummikub'. You'd think every shop that offers boardgames would stock it, but no such luck. People in Bournemouth don't appear to be playful when it comes to Rummikub. Will have to search e-bay again after the holidays. I soooo want it because I know hubby loves it. But alas, it'll have to wait and when I do find it I'll gift it to him as a random act of kindness.
Didn't post yesterday, was busy with my friend Bribbet. First we visited and she got her creating cooking lesson to make Dhal (she was one happy Bribbet!), and I made some Pakoras, because her boys like my cooking, whereas my kids don't really care for most of the dishes I create. *sigh*
All in all, it was a lovely afternoon, with many an intelligent conversation between us goddesses on their way to crone status, and my son was not seen for hours, busily playing. DD finished her X-Myth shopping yesterday, so didn't join us.
Might write some more if I feel creative later.
