The day's been fine. Quite nice in fact. Differences sorted. Sara left for London this morning with her friend and decided, after all, only to have another ear piercing rather than having her lip pierced *phew!_wipes_sweat_off_forehead*. My little girl is 15 now! I probably should feel old *smirk*, but I feel as if the future is waiting for me, as are new adventures, so forget about feeling old, instead I'm plotting.
I got the most hilarious e-mail from a fellow homeschooling mom.

Sandra has one wicked sense of humour! The reference about shrinking is to Sara's interest in psychology, or more precisely, criminal psychology. I guess shrunken heads are part of that particular interest *snigger*. But I'm going to put a spell on my head, just in case she fancies shrinking that one!
Anyways, the rest of the family dragged me to Poole this afternoon. We went to Subway for lunch, an authentic American healthy fast food outlet *snigger*, but I did enjoy the tuna sub, eventhough I don't usually eat tuna, but they assured me it is from dolphin friendly sources. Then we visited some book stores where I found absolutely nothing that took my fancy, and a couple of charity shops, where not only did we find a couple of books Sara will like, but I also found a huge manual on 'teach yourself how to sew'! So there! I'm a happy bunny now, with only a very little hole in hubby's wallet *grin*.
Then we went home, hubby was extremely tired, Merlin knows how many hours he worked this week, so he had a short nap, until Little One absolutely insisted that he was to be taken to Blockbuster to get his weekly game or movie.
I also have the new computer up and running, yeah! So far *touch_wood* no crashes. I'll see how it goes over the next few days, but Windows 2000 seems to be a lot more stable, also no 'grey windows' with messages popping up here there everywhere. Hm. I like it so far.
I shall stop rambling now and see if I can find a movie with Alan Rickman and maybe drool over said actor, if only to compare hubby favorably over that one *smirk*. The voice.... oh.... The Voice...
Sara will be back soon and then we'll spend the rest of the evening celebrating our birthdays together, as well as hubby's and my wedding anniversary. :-)
