I've been - finally - working on The Cloak again *very_big_smile*. Picked up the sewing machine from the Goddess of Sewing this afternoon, as she doesn't need it this week. So now I've redone the hood, attached the hood to the cloak and started pinning the lining to the cloak. Rest will follow tomorrow. Yes, yes, I will put a picture up. Might only be in the Pictures section, but I'll yell when it's up, promise.
Today was quite a nice day. We went into Boscombe, just to have a look around and pick up some tights for moi, and returned with something for everyone, without having had to part with too much dosh. I found a long black cotton skirt, fairly straight cut, which cost me a tenner. Hubby picked up a pair of brand jeans for about £6. Little One got a pair of dark blue cotton pants, and Sara a load of black socks, the kind she likes. And upon returning home, I learned that Bribbet was home and willing to loan me the sewing machine for a week. So I shan't be posting much here this week. Tomorrow I'll finish the cloak, Tuesday is Phantom of the Opera day (I wish I could continue this tradition of seeing it on the first day of every month!), Wednesday hopefully Moors Valley if we're not snowed in, so I'll have evenings and Thursday and Friday to do sewing stuff. My, my dress might even be completed by the end of the week. Although I'm hoping that Ladies Joyous and Becca might wish to visit on Thursday, as L_J is going on a holiday to Malaysia next week *goes_green_with_envy*, and I'll be missing her company for a few weeks.
Off to do some iMac exploring now.
