"Cover your face!" - "I think not"

We’ve returned from the NWFP, and I must admit, I’d love to go back there. Not at the weekend, with Chauvinist Pig Incarnate in the house, but alas, he’s only there Thursday to Sunday. The women of the house were lovely, nice, curious and we felt much looked after and loved. ‘Twas a shame really that the strike continued, no shopping to be had in Peshawar, so definitely must return!
The trip back was quite the adventure. The driver has probably never had a Whitie in the van and tried his best to impress us with daring maneuvres that scared the living daylights out of me. At one point I doubted I’d ever see Islamabad alive again * shudder*. But we all got back in one piece and the only side effects are tiredness and I’m suffering from some tummy bug, which might well be the after effects of the adventurous drive.
