Rain, Ranting, Silly Mood
Apr. 24th, 2005 10:09 amIt's rained. This morning, at about 3am it started. First there was thunder. Then there was rain. Then there was torrential rain. Getting soaked outside on the terrace felt absolutely heavenly. For the first time in weeks, I actually felt chilly! Never thought I'd treasure that feel *smirk*. Sara and I enjoyed the rain so much that we stayed up way tooooooo long. I finally went to sleep at around 5am, to the sweet music of heavy rain. The result today is almost cool weather, well, it's around 27C (81F) high, but I don't think it's even reached that. And there are clouds, no sun burning down today. Simply heavenly. We might go for a walk this afternoon, simply because we can. :-)
I've found a nice FF archive, The Petulant Poetess. As it is currently run by only one person, it is highly unlikely to be political. I've been getting disillusioned with the biggest SS/HG archive out there, my chapter 4 has been with them for over a week now, I mailed the admin to say I've revised it and taken all the punctuation mistakes out (or so I'd like to think), but alas, they're busy validating the known authors, some of whom, incidentally also happen to appear on the list of people who have been donating. Whilst I have absolutely no problem with donating to sites that are run by volunteers, I do have a problem if the site doesn't come out straight that authors who do donate will get verified in a more timely manner. That, in my mind, is political, and I don't do politics *hmph*.
I found the following in LadyoftheMasque's journal entry, couldn't resist *snigger*.
