Nice day out

We went to the xmas market this afternoon. It’s been a rainy day, not quite full of rain, but drizzle every now and then, and thankfully not too cold. We first visited the “Hexenhof” (Witches’ Courtyard) to have some Glühwein, that is, Dorkboy had the real stuff, and Little One and I settled for the children’s variety, because the real stuff makes me ill. Yeah, there’s a new one *snort*, hot wine makes me feel ill. ;-) Then we had some crêpes, mine with cheese, Little One’s with Nutella. We strolled around some, all the while highly amused at the stares my cloak was getting. I find this place here amazing; you get two extremes of behaviours — the one is, of course, the typical German one of utter rudeness in every way — the other is that of the other extreme, courtesy and good manners beyond belief. Weird, this is. But anyways, we had a good time. Little One was desperate to visit McPuke because of the indoor playground, but I outright refused, having promised him yesterday that I'd take him there during the week, so DB suggested he’d take him, and meet me later at the Tapas Bar. Which was highly acceptable to me. So I managed to write about 600 words of chapter 3 of Without Magic. Yeah!
We then forced ourselves to walk back home, for the simple reason of needing to sober up some. When DB and Little One arrived at the Tapas Bar, the Happy Hour had just started. Yeah, on a Sunday, no less. And Dorkboy couldn’t help notice that fact. Then he insisted to buy me a Whisky Sour... And it kind of threw me... LOL. I was good, though, but I only managed one, whilst he had two cocktails. All in all, a nice Sunday.
