It's simply been a very lazy day. I didn't even wake up till 11am and was the first one to wake. The weather was horrible mostly, first hot and humid, then a thunderstorm from hell came down on us that made me flee into Dorkboy's arms until it was over. The noise was worse than fireworks and I don't do fireworks well at all. It's finally cooling down a bit and tomorrow looks promising, with cooler temps and rain.

hogwartshoney continues to be a very bad influence on me. She's lured me over to the community grangersnape100, so I've become a spy, presently for the Order, but I may well switch sides. I even posted a drabble of exactly 200 words (my, that was difficult!) here. Naturally, I blame hogwartshoney because she shamelessly manipulated me in our IM talk last night. She's very talented, too, as you can see here.
It's been a strange week. I tried to concentrate on writing, but the double bass obsession is kind of taking over a bit at the moment. I nearly won an auction on ebay for a good one, but alas, it evidently wasn't meant to be *snerk*. There's no teacher to be found locally, so I went searching for books. When they arrive, I'll probably forget there is the internet until I'm done reading. So, my contribution to the Limerick Challenge over on Potter_Place is still only half done and now requires some serious work if I want to enter it. Well, duh, I do want to enter it. I shall see how things go tomorrow.
Little Man's cough is finally on its way out, he only coughed a couple of times today *phew*. Hopefully, by Tuesday or so he'll be completely healed and we can go swimming again.
