of two fan artists, I'm pimping this poll. Please pass along, so every fan will know about it.
While I'm at it, I have both a Greatest Journal and an Insane Journal, both under the same name as here, so if you have one, and I haven't friended you on there, let me know.
People, this censorship isn't going to get better. I find it highly suspicious that this kind of thing happens when some particular fandom activity is going on. Last time it was shortly after Phoenix Rising, this time it started bang in the middle of Prophecy. They have a reason for timing it this way, and that reason isn't a friendly one.
It is one thing to ban/censor journals that openly condone pedophilia and the like. However, LJ are not even doing that - someone had posted a work of fiction on their LJ and then complained, under a different ID about it, only to be told that it did not violate LJ's Terms and would therefore not deleted. Now, again out of the blue, LJ has decided to delete two fan artists. I don't know what their crime was, but I do know that I have a problem with a company who imposes this kind of censorship. There is enough tyranny and dictatorship and mind control in the world, we don't need it in fandom.
