Yes, the last few months have brought us an amazing number of very talented new authors! Same here - I've not spent much time reading lately because I've been busy with my SS/HG Exchange contribution. Am cleaning it up just now, and have every intention of making up for lack of reading over the weekend. Of course, I'll let you know what I think of Paladins! It has to be good, a lot of friends who share my taste told me so. :-)
