It's been... a week

The Petulant Podcast editing gave me grief beyond my wildest belief. First I accidentally deleted several audio files and had to ask the relevant people to re-send them, which was somewhat embarrassing. Then GarageBand gave me the grief of the century - it refused to go beyond 39 minutes, no matter what I tried. Not good, considering this podcast ended up an hour and a half in length. In the end, I had three GarageBand files and put them together in Audacity, and in the process, about 13 seconds were completely lost, which I didn't find out until after it was online. Sorry about that, but I rechecked, and it's there, except online, it isn't. Oh well, there must have been some Friday the 13th jinx involved because when I finally had it all done and ready to upload last night, it refused to upload. This morning, though, everything went smoothly, and I did manage to upload it.
So yeah, that kept me kind of busy for most of the week. Plus watching The Order of the Phoenix twice, first the midnight showing when it came out, then with my brother on Thursday night. Both were wonderful, I really enjoyed it.
Yesterday, we went for some retail therapy at a mall we hadn't been to before. It was worth it. I found a t-shirt at GAP for 2.99 *looks smug*. I also finally found The Soundtrack. Neither the Evil Empire nor Target nor any other store had it when I searched for it, so I'm really happy now because, well, I like it. The composer did a great job, not only with the general music but especially with incorporating Hedwig's Theme while making it his own. It seriously impressed me.
Today has been so lovely that even some sycophanticbitch dunderhead wasn't able to spoil it. Thankfully, the window died before I got all riled up. This morning I managed to upload the podcast without a hitch, then went out to the Evil Coffee Empire, and they actually got the order right, which really impressed me because it doesn't happen to often since we have some specific tastes in general, like, double shot, iced/non-iced skinny/non-skinny and all that. Oh, and organic please, and preferably fair-trade, too, not that they'd know about that one. And then the day got better because my Aunt M phoned me, entirely out of the blue. I was absolutely ecstatic. Sorry, Aunt M, I don't know if I made any sense talking to you! I was just so totally over the moon!
And I'm still happy about it, in fact, so happy that I felt grateful that the window on the computer died, so I didn't feel obliged to read the drivel in it.
And I'm happy with the oddspring (trademark broom), who prefer my cooking to take-out. "Oh, mum, it's so much better if you cook it!"
Oh, and my music (for which there is a link on my profile page) has been accessed some 570 times since I put it online less than a week ago. Nobody has bought it, okay, fair enough, but at least, yanno? People check it out, which makes me happy.
Happy Weekend to everyone!
