But I'm so not surprised that now a second version of the alleged Book 7 has made its way to the internets. It's a conspiracy to confuddle the fans. Yup. That's what it is. I wonder how many more will turn up before midnight Friday.

It is what I have thought for quite some time. A literary shell game is upon us.

Many are in mourning right now...and I think you may know some of them. I hope they accept the idea that all of this is a big faux spoiler posting frenzy.

If I am to believe all of these spoilers I think sixteen characters have died. It becomes less a question of who dies but WHO THE HECK IS LEFT?????

but it's incredibly fun (I just hope it's a hoax) because it would brilliant...

but it's not (I thought HBP's spoiler was a hoax last time, the one that had Dumbledore's scanned pages)

What second book? I think I've only read the one?

Confused, Sonia :)

I haven't read any of them, but apparently, there are about three different versions, with the latter two only having various pages shown rather than the entire book.

Yes, yes, I saw that.

And I whole-heartedly agree that the words on the pages seem as if they were cut in there. The blurriness is odd. (I only read 1 1/2 chapters... though they were the ones that I was the most interested in.)

When all of this first started to surface, I honestly wondered if it was a scam/hoax being played by the publishers and JKR themselves. Because, you'd have to be pretty dedicated to do that. Can you imagine?

It would be funny, though, if there wound-up being 4 different books up on the internet by Friday... oh, I would fall over laughing.

An the best thing is that we could pick one of them to be the new canon if JKR shags us over as badly as I expect.

A lot of people think the crap-et book is the real thing. I can't imagine her writing suddenly being that bad in places. Also, she got a few names wrong, and I can't imagine that her editor and continuity editor are that inefficient to have missed them.

I agree, I hope I can laugh with relief at midnight when I hold the book in my hands. :-) ::wibbles::

Oh brother. Well, that'll be interesting reading *after* reading the real thing.

*nods* It's supposed to be good in places, so I'm sure it'll be a good read overall.

*sniffles*

There's another version? *feels shimmer of hope*

:-)) At this point...really...I'm convinced that no matter what happens...fanfiction will fix it. *shrug* I'm honestly having the hardest time believing that the first leaked copy is real...based on the fact that so many freaking people die. I know it's a war...but from the interviews that I read, I wasn't expecting it to be a bloodbath of, what I consider, main characters.

Apparently, there are three versions around, not all of them complete, though.

Yup, fanfic is the way to go - if we don't like book 7, we'll rewrite it. :-)
