Just an ordinary day

Wah! Another day of walking and walking. Sending Sara some dosh via Western Union took me an entire hour, and the crowds there were just... unbearable. Little One and I had to seriously de-traumatise by treating ourselves to a nice pizza lunch. The weather was blah, for most of the day, but at least the rain stopped late morning. We did a little bit of shopping, I found a glass with musical notes on it and figured that I desperately needed a couple of them, if only to look at them fondly. I was looking around for a picture of some musical scene or instrument, but haven’t found that yet, at least not at the price I’m willing to pay. The glasses were only about $1.50 each, so that was alright. Little One found the PC game of HP CoS for a tenner, so he’s happily playing now. I might even get some writing done tonight. Staying in this place is surely inspiring, we’re loving it. We need neither bus nor taxi to get into the town centre, and the nearest grocery shop is two minutes away. But best of all is the feel of the apartment. It’s a happy sort of place. And the wood talks, we’ve noticed. :-)
