*sigh* the title says it all, dunnit... I’ve known for a while that Little One shows musical talent, but it became very evident today when we visited a music store. He played a Xylophone for the first time of his life, and what he played was perfectly harmonic. Then he talked me into buying him a 4.95 harmonica, and now he plays melodies with it, a mere few hours later. Scary. I’m happy about it, don’t get me wrong. I’m very happy about it. And I won’t say anymore on the subject except that I’m scared. He taught himself to read. He is very close to having the perfect pitch. What next? Dorkboy is watching a Bollywood movie. Funny enough, it’s all about music. *Hmph* I’m going to get a sewing machine before I get a keyboard, because I know once I have a keyboard I won’t do much else. Oh I’ll keep on writing. Writing is something I always do, and it’s not restricted to “home”, wherever that is at the moment.
Having mused about music, I think I’ll have to make one of my characters a musician. It’s a creative thing, after all, so it’ll fit in perfectly…
Right now, “being” is kind of hard. I have itchy feet and can’t find a decently enough priced ticket. On the other hand, just being here results in a lot of stimulation, even if I don’t have enough time to kind of process this stimulation. Hm. What to do, what to do...
