It´s still snowing...
Nov. 27th, 2005 10:08 pm... and I don't like snow. So I stayed home all day and cut the wool and started sewing. The hood is done completely, including pleats to make it fit better; the two backs are pinned and two thirds sewn together. Tomorrow I'll attach the fronts, dye the silk black or dark purple, haven't made up my mind yet (well, I have, but Dorkboy recommended a different coloured lining, so I'm considering it), and iron the silk. Tuesday I'll cut and sew the lining, and Wednesday I'll finish it. The forecast is for snow and cold until at least Friday, so yes, I will get it done before this cold spell finishes *hmph*.
Oh yeah, I've done some writing, too. We settled for take-out food for dinner, so I didn't have to do any cooking. Writing is much more inspiring than cooking today. I love to cook, only today, I didn't feel like it. It might have something to do with the fact that the fridge is nearly empty *snort*. The delivered pizza was nice enough, especially the artichokes on it. :-)
Once this chapter is written, I'll finish the next chapter (10) of Damage Control. I really need to clean that one up as well, it still contains mistakes that bug me now that I'm getting better with punctuation. I'm not saying perfect, just in case you spot some in this post *smirk*.
I'm keen on getting these fanfics done, because I have a feeling by the time the new year starts, the entire plot for Tracero will be ready to be written, and I will concentrate on that one then for a few months. It's kind of strange how this one goes. Right now, of course, I can't do a thing. It's lost in the iMac and I can't access it until the Mac gets repaired which hopefully will happen this week. But all those plot bunnies and sub plots are surfacing and I'm taking notes like crazy. So... I reckon once I get the Mac back, all repaired and well, the story will kind of explode and grow by about 50k words...
