Da Mac has returned to life!
Dec. 1st, 2005 09:41 pmYeah! And all the data is still intact! *phew*
It was hell carrying it three storeys upstairs, but Mr Mac is doing well, the music is fine, and most importantly, Tracero is wonderful. Can you even begin to imagine how relieved I feel.... To even start to think I might have lost thousands of cleaned up words of a book.... I won't go there...
Dorkboy suggested I'd submit the prologue as a stand-alone to a short story literary competition - the maximum word count is 2k, and the Prologue is only some 700 words, so it would qualify. Well, I wasn't quite sure, so I sent it to a friend, ruthlessly fishing for an opinion. The deadline is sometime in January, so I do have a month at least to decide... Meantime, I'm writing Ch3 of Without Magic. I know I was going to put it on the back burner while I'm sewing the cloak, but I can't. My hands kind of work independently from the rest of my body, and I have to take my notebook out and write, no matter where I am. I think Red Cloud might have taken over writing the story *snigger*.
