Yay

We've actually had about three drops of rain tonight. Not that it helped, mind you. The wind still feels like a hair dryer on the hot setting. But alas, there's been "rain". I suppose it's a start for better weather to come. Not in the near future, as far as the forecast is concerned, but there's hope in the long term.

About time, too. People here are seriously catty. At least I've not yet admonished anyone for breathing, unlike some bints about town today *shakes_head*. I really need to get out of here.

OMG. I. have. won. an. award. for. writing. It was incredible when I received an e-mail to notify me that I'd been nominated. Now, I've just received one to say I've one an award. This is... I have no words for it, except SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
