I figured I'd ask here what gets you or puts you off a fic...

I can ignore non-canon compliance if it's done purposefully and is interesting. For example, "I wondered how Tonks would have handled parenting a teenager" might be remotely interesting and worthwhile. "OMG, it was so sad that Tonks died and it's stupid and unfair that she died and I hate DH and so she's alive in my story and all my stories are AU anyway" isn't all that interesting.
