I state my opinion quite frequently, whether or not it coincides with others' opinion. To do so is my right as an Authentic Human Being. Everyone has that right. Everyone also has the right to disagree with Your or My opinion. However, using someone's statement of opinion to drag down someone else is a very poor display of humanity. All you in the Harry Potter Universe, have you learned nothing reading the books? We are as strong as we are united, and we are as weak as we are divided. Yes, that's right. That is one sentence of true wisdom. Do we really need to cause major wank about trivialities? I think not.

We are all one, whether you realise it or not. We are all part of that wonderful infinitive intelligence some call god. Do we really need to cause all that discontent just because of ego? I think not, but a lot obviously think yes. Wake up, people. Are you really that blind to what's happening around you? So blind that you can willingly feed the wank? May you wake up.

Hee, had to look up your post before answering. No, it isn't. I wouldn't consider your post wank in any way; it was a difference of opinions and you did what you felt was the right thing to do. :)

I so rarely express my opinion in long, drawn out posts that I was worried it might look that way. With that particular post, there are many people on my friends list who are members of that comm, and I still wanted to share the story with them, but I wanted there to be no doubt as to why it was posted on my LJ instead of at the comm.

I did feel it was the right thing to do. I didn't argue, bitch, complain, or try to make her change the rules, I simply took my writing elsewhere, which is my right. So, again, I'm very, very glad that it didn't come across as wank. :)

No, it never occurred to me to look at it as being wanky at all. :)
