So,
sunnythirty3, the wench from the Southern hemisphere, was up to no good last night. I thought she was merely chatting while waiting for a patient to turn up, but no. She fired a challenge at me. "Write fic! Write 500 words! But you're not allowed to use a comma!"
I decided to read the f-list on LJ while awaiting the Muse to inspire me. The top post was from
notsosaintly, in which she pretended not to know what a comma is. I sneered at her and informed her of
sunnythirty3's challenge, and because I couldn't resist, I lured her into joining me in return for a prompt. She obliged, and you can see the result here.

And we were so delighted with this type of challenge that we created a category on it on TPP, so if you feel inclined to try your hand at writing a commaless fic, do join in.
