Follow-up from last Saturday when snow was abundant...

The snow stayed Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Then, Wednesday, we were able to walk down the wooden stairs without being afraid we'd slip and break limbs. Thursday, the temps rose to 70. Today was 75. This constant yo-yoing is driving my body nuts. It's not used to it. One day it's 30s, the next day 60s. Wtf? Ushuaia sounds ever so attractive... 40s to 50s throughout the year and lots of rain. Beach nearby, too! Wow.

The cold can be nice. It is refreshing, can clear your lungs, can even be enjoyable if it isn't windy or below zero. But the ups and downs in temperature like that? When that happens here (and granted, it varies from about 52 to 80 instead at this time of year), people tend to get sick for some reason. Take care of yourself.

I think I've finally overcome the bouts of cold that have been hitting me throughout winter. Now I'm just exhausted. Today the high is 79, tomorrow it'll be 48. *sighs*

Hmmm... did you recently run off to Michigan without telling anybody? lol I think that's why we are always so surly up here around Detroit, because we're always sick!

See... we're not really so bad. "Murder capital..." bah! If we didn't keep Kleenex and Puffs in business, we might be a little friendlier to our fellow man. It's not our fault, really, it's the damn Sun! lol
