...Because I'm finally going to see Phantom of the Opera in London's West End tomorrow! So I haven't been really much use this afternoon for anything. Little One made me laugh when he announced, after finishing his pasta "I'm rather de-hungered now" *giggle*.
We've had a nice enough day. This morning, Joy phoned just as we were getting ready to go to the bus stop, saying she'd pick us up as she'd just read my e-mail in which I'd mentioned that we don't have the car this week. So we had a smooth ride to the local weekly homeschoolers' meeting place, Little One had fun playing yugioh and bionicle and transformers with his friends, whilst I enjoyed chatting with Bribbet, holding Calixa who was making a whole array of faces with me. She raises her eyebrows already like a pro, at 6 weeks old! She grows more beautiful every time I see her, and I get more broody, too. Yes, I'm admitting it. I won't say no to another offspring, preferably from the same planet.
Anyways, I walked back to the bus stop with Rebecca, as I felt the mile long walk would do both of us good as well as Rebecca. She's a funny one. She'll be the first one to admit she's as thick as two planks of wood, but at the same time she's very loving and sasses stuff out in the most simple ways, I can't help but admire her for that skill. We had a nice enough conversation about religion and witchcraft and masonics, and I found she grasps a lot by sheer gut feeling, right my cup of tea *erm* coffee. Don't do tea unless it's green or disguised as a health benefitting potion *snigger*.
So we got home an hour later than usual, and all I managed to do was a load of laundry. Hm. What shall I wear tomorrow... The black sun dress with the silk jumper, the black dress with the black/silver lacey top or the black buttoned dress with the by_then_hopefully_dry favorite long sleeve top? My purple dress isn't washed so that's not an option. I'll have to see about it in the morning. London, yeah. Bad energy, but at least no stares, thanks to the high amount of non-sheep looking people *snicker*.
So, tomorrow is my grand-day out, courtesy of hubby's b-day present and Caroline's kindness to not only book my ticket, but she agreed to come with me to see it, I think it's the 14th time for her now. Boy, she beat me with my Magic Flute obsession. I've only managed to see that one on stage 13 times. But... The Opera House in London is staging a new Magic Flute production in February, and I'm very tempted...
Time to go now to iron some clothes. Just kidding. Maybe the kids will agree with a game of Rummikub. No doubt I'll update tomorrow with a detailed account on Phantom. :-)
