Fangirling and recs

bambu345 and subvers and southernwitch69 and notsosaintly and wartcap for their awesome writing, hill_ and _odella_ and pennswoods for their awesome art, but I've discovered more talent recently. ofenjen has taken Harry Potter to an entirely new level where crafty creativity is concerned. Check out her LJ and the Leaky Cauldron pages on craft, and you'll see what I mean.
If you haven't readubiquirk's stories yet, go ahead and read. It will enrich your life in every aspect. Good writing, unique plotting, and, oh, my, the colour pink prevails in Back in Black! Pure awesomeness, I tell you. Monty Python pales compared to Back in Black!
Then there'sscatteredlogic who wrote the most amazing essay on "A tour through Fandomland could rival anything provided by the most well equipped Wildlife Park" here. I thought it ought to be compulsory reading for fandom newbies, but she rightly figured that it might scare a few people *snicker*.
Then there'scocoachristy, currently writing One Vital Ingredient, which is another absolutely awesome WIP in the SSHG fandom.
And last night,jackiejlh pointed me to a story which grabbed my attention because it's absolutely unique. For starters, it's about Neville, and it's genfic, not something I usually read. But, boy, is it worth it!
