Tornadoes

DB, if you read this, the phones are dodgy at best at the moment, so don't panic if you can't get through. We're at home, candles lit, and ready to shut the computers down again before the next onslaught of tornadoes. Frankly, from the damage reported already, I doubt we'll have power in the morning, but we'll see. I do hope Starbucks still stands, that square got a beating.

We got away unscathed, just another adventure richer. There must have been a miracle involved; the second storm front was supposed to be worse than the first and heading right our way, and yet, we barely got the edge of it.

Aw, musical cookies icon! *loves* Thank you for your kind words. Thankfully, power never did go out and storm is over. I feel so relieved. It's one thing reading about tornadoes or seeing them on the news, but it's kinda different being sort of right there, lol. That was an experience! :-)

I know what you mean about it being different on TV than it is in your own backyard. I grew up in the midwest, so I've been there!

Thanks! We managed to stay safe and it's all quiet now. *phew* :-) I don't remember any occasion where I felt this relieved!
