Monday, Tuesday and today. I guess.
Feb. 9th, 2005 09:25 pm*ahem* I know I promised to post about 3 days ago.... Sorry! Real Life has taken over. I haven't even emailed Terri to let her know that first package is on its way!
Monday we went to the hall as usual (that's the local homeschoolers' weekly meeting). Nothing big to report there, went on as usual and "trelawney" wasn't there, thank goodness. I enjoyed mingling with other mothers, also rediscovered Indian Yogi Tea. It is just sooooo yummy, especially the Indian blend! Full of cassia cinnamon and other yummy spices. Add lime juice to it and it's just perfect! Rebecca and Kerry came home with us after debating whether to go to her place or ours. I was glad for it, as I had a few packages to go out and was able to do all the packaging while they were here. Rebecca and Kerry left around 4.30pm and I got on with my cloak. By that time Little One's cloak was ready, as frog clasps had arrived that morning and that was my first task of the day, to sew on the clasp to his cloak. Two days later now, I have 3 kids' request to make them cloaks. :-) And numerous adults' requests. Hm! Honestly, people, you're all home-educating mothers! Can't you all make your own cloaks?????
as to yesterday, we, that is Little One and I, went to Boscombe, the local poor people's place in Bournemouth. We found a pair of jeans for him, with skater design on the denim which he absolutely loved! I found a dress, purple, long, with a seriously beautiful tie up at the back. We walked there and back, and on the way back we stopped at the local playground for half an hour and Little One had fun. It was before school was out for the day and I realised why small kids adore him. He doesn't bully them. He's caring and watches out for them. It was amazing to watch him! There were about 4 small kids there, at least 4 years his junior. They all went on the roundabout together. And I hate that playground thing. It can go really fast. But Little One made sure that they were all safe before he went fast. I'm so proud of him. By the time we got home, we had walked some 6 miles and he even more considering the playground. So we spent the rest of the day with him some time in front of the xbox *yuck* and Sara discussing options for getting into some psychology course without maths gcse's *sigh*
sorry you'll have to wait for update till tomorrow. i'm absolutely bushed and i i write one more word it won't make sense honestly.
