It's been a rather pleasant day, thank you. Weather was almost cool, well, for local conditions, anyways! No sun, instead plenty of cloud, a bit of wind, but no rain. Simply... pleasant.
So we ventured into Commercial Market, where this time, we discovered the lane where the dyers are located, incidentally near the lane with the fabric stores. Oh, the possibilities that ran through my mind...
Bought some green cotton to make some sheets and pillow covers for Sara, she chose the colour, Bribbet, you'd love it, it's close to lime-green, but a bit more subdued *phew*. It's all cut now and ready to sew, which I'll do tomorrow at Bina's. Next project will be a turquoise cloak. I'm not sure I'll wear it since it isn't black, or even purple, but alas, I have the fabric, and I fancy making a cloak. I guess I can always put it on e-bay *snigger*.
We picked up a lot of bits and pieces, such as a couple of pillows, fruit, general groceries etc. so by the time we were ready to go home, we decided it'll be too much effort to prepare any food or walk the mile to Bina's home. Instead, we each chose something to buy and take home to eat. Little One went for Pizza *now_there_is_a_surprise*, Sara for fries *another_surprise*, and I found, low and behold, VEGETABLE samosas *dances_happy_dance*. Avoiding meat here generally is like avoiding rain puddles on England's roads!
