Things are positively improving. I managed to post to LJ again, for the first time in three days. We've had two nights with heavy rains and the daytime temperature has actually dropped to a bearable 95F. And people like Play, Outcast, Play. I've placed the first two chapters in Memories, so it's easy to find, and I'll do the same with subsequent chapters.
Dorkboy and Little One are going to Naveed's to watch cricket, so Sara and I shall take the opportunity to go visit Dunkin' Donuts, drink endless amounts of coffee, eat a donut or three and just chill out. I like that. She likes that. And we both like a girl's evening out.
Oh. I have a new friend *smiles_broadly*. NSS doesn't like Tom Cruise either. I'm so glad. I don't feel alone anymore in my utter dislike of him. Honestly, the guy gives me the creeps. And he can't act to save his life. Hmph. Okay, moan over. :-)
For anyone following Play, Outcast, Play, I'm hoping to post the next chapter on Monday or Tuesday, depending on the internet connection. And for anyone following Damage Control, Chapter 8 is with my beta and will be posted as soon as she returns it to me.
