Of a lovely sunday. And pettiness. And loveliness.

We had one absolutely lovely Sunday. Now, you know I don't like movies, unless they're Harry Potter... Nevertheless I truly enjoyed 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' today! It is a really good movie. Go see it if you haven't yet. Whilst it surely doesn't follow the true Roald Dahl book, it certainly does stay within the tune. It is simply brilliant. And so is Johnny Depp in it. That's all I have to say about it. I was dragged to the cinema, I might add. And still enjoyed it. So it can't have been bad ;-)
On the fanfic front... Apparently, my ranting wasn't over-reaction. Several people agreed with my complaints, so I won't complain any further. But I need to say that I detest pettiness. And I simply won't stand for an admin doing beta work that is unwanted. And, (and I'm really sorry to say this, because I love the OWL archive), I won't stand for inconsistency. Make up your minds, people. And if you can't do that, allocate one story to one admin, so at least the corrections are consistent.
And that's all I'll say about that. I've taken the story off, it's not an issue any longer.
I had nearly two hours before the movie started today, nearly two hours on my own. Wow. The second time in about six weeks... So of course my muse went walkies and I started writing another story. Yeah! There goes my promise about writing only originals.... But I enjoy writing Hermione/Severus just so much. So I gave in and started writing.
Anyone ever read the book "Perfume" by Patrick Suesskind? To me, that book is the ultimate. I'm not into perfumes, never have been, but that book is just simply amazing. The guy goes on about the smell of one plant/flower/bark/woman/man for pages and pages, and I never got bored reading! I don't know how good it is in English, since I read it in the German original when it came out, but even if it's half as good as the original, go ahead and read it. Okay, AR is playing the main character in the upcoming movie. Now are you gonna read it? *smirk*
