I don't know...
Oct. 8th, 2005 11:43 pm... how people manage to get a million comments, or so it seems. People, if you read this, please do leave a comment. Pretty please? With icing on top?
Anyways, today I feel truly accomplished. I exchanged the top I bought last week at Camden Town, because the buttons were all lined up wrong, so I'm happy. I could have done it easily enough myself, but since I'm nearby, I figured I might as well make use of that fact... Anyways, I really love the new top, which I didn't see at all last week, otherwise I would have bought that one in the first place! I also found, finally, a new handbag. Mine was ripped just about everywhere, and what's worst, the zip was ripped, so I was getting paranoid about having stuff stolen. I mean, my notebook is in there. Never mind the wallet. I could live with the loss of a few pounds/bucks, since I never carry much anyways, but if anyone stole that notebook, boy, would I be pissed... But now I have a new bag. Cordroy (no leather here), and zip after zip after zip, so it's all safe. :-)
I went to various coffee shops, and got quite a bit of writing done that way. Eventually, I found my way to Regents Park, to meet with Little One and Dorkboy. We got back "home" and the house was full with kids *sigh*. They're such a nuisance... Little One loved it, though, he found a friend amongst those kids, about 10 years old, so I guess everyone is happy...
I spent most of the evening in the kitchen with Mariam, the daughter of the house, yeah, the one who loves my cooking, and we discussed the menu for the next couple of days...
Meantime, I've heard from a friend in NZ. If any of you reading this are healers, please send healing vibes. She's ill, in pain, although is slowly getting better. I want her to be well NOW... She is dear to my heart. She's the one who convinced Dorkboy of homeschooling. Heck, am I grateful to her or what... Had it been for Dorkboy, the kids would be in school. Heck, the kids would have been fully vaccinated and at the doctors every five minutes... I prefer our lifestyle, and I'm forever grateful to all the people who came to my rescue as needed to convince him of using his brain instead of playing sheep...
Okay, I should really leave here and take up typing again, so I can get this chapter done... :-)
