So, I've been researching. Solely because the plot demands it, but I don't seem to be getting anywhere. How do female writers manage to write, erm, erotic or even explicit slash scenes? Can somebody please tell me? I've ditched two scenes so far, and it's getting tiring, frustrating, and old. The first one was too crude. While I can delight in the odd, unexpected crude moment, an entire scene of crudeness just isn't my thing. The next one was too cheesy. I may appreciate a good, mature cheese made from raw milk, but these Kraft single wrapped slices of plastic disguised as cheese really aren't mah thing. *deep sigh*
A headache isn't helping tonight either.
On a brighter note, Little Man cracked me up tonight. The family came home from self-defense, and he walked in with a single rose in his hand. I said, "Oh, what a beautiful flower. Where did you get it from?" He replied, pointing to his dad over his shoulder, "Him. Sorry, mum, he said he didn't have enough money to buy one for you, too." He looked positively smug, too. LOL
