Dec. 23rd, 2008 07:39 pmI am touched by the kindness you've bestowed on me. Knowing that someone is thinking of me without rolling their eyes fills me with joy. Learning how thoughtful you've been in choosing gifts for me not only astounds but humbles me. I've been gifted with a most beautiful print of a tango scene (points to icon, which ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
alienor77310 made for me earlier this year--and she was by no means the only one to humour me with pretty icons, although definitely the most prolific--thanks, all of you) which came with a profound quote by Jean-Paul Sartre:

Thank you,hogwarts_91! It prettifies the wall above my desk, next to the sconce, and on the other side hangs the pretty art deemichelle gifted me a couple of months ago, just after we moved.
Last night, it was after 9pm, the postman delivered a package. I felt sorry for him having to be out working so late, especially given the untypical cold weather, but he was rather chipper and informed me it was fun working at this time of the year, as he gets to deliver mostly presents. Mine was a present, too! It contained gorgeous notebooks in various sizes and formats and mouth-watering Belgian chocolate truffles!
Thank you,irishredlass69! I'm looking forward to filling them with lots of words over the next few months! The chocolate, well, I might even share a bit with blue_paris because shared joy is double the joy. :)
And now I better return to finishing my Yule2008 Challenge entry...
P.S.gardengirl6, once I get my macbook back, I'll be able to upload my iTunes-bought music onto the computer and burn a CD. Just remind me once you see me rejoicing over having the macbook back, please, because I'm bound to forget!
