Raining here too. 300mm was forecast up in the hills and it certainly bucketed all night. Ground is so waterlogged from flooding 2 weeks ago that the river is up to the stop bank already. We have lived here 10 years and it has only been up onto our land twice. Two weeks ago and today LOL. Going home at lunchtime to check progress. Roads closed down South due to slips and flooding. But I still like watching it rain, call me perverse! :)
Wow. That is a lot of rain! I love watching it, too. We don't get nearly enough, but this year is way better than last summer with about 10 weeks of not a drop.
What I would GIVE for some rain. It was almost 100 out today and in the house, my room reached 90 degrees. Packing the kitchen was sweaty, disgusting work. Ugh.
