The kitchen is functional, the living room cosy, and it's mostly clothing and populating the book shelves that's left to do. But today may just be a chill-sort-of-day cuz I can't feel my legs. Or arms. And the back is ouch.

The macbook's hard drive is deaded. Which means, yeah, I lost a few files, but such is life. I managed to recreate about 1300 words of the 1800 I lost. Good thing I edit like mad, so chunks of it I managed to remember word by word, or at least pretty much. The Steve-person at the Genius Bar was pretty cool. He suggested three different contacts to have the hard-drive replaced, saying they're all Apple certified and can do it way cheaper than Apple. He also pointed out that I might want to get a bigger hard-drive while I'm having to replace it anyway. What a splendid idea and way cheaper than a new macbook! I might eventually even able to afford to buy that extra memory that will make GarageBand all the more efficient.

Aaaaaand: I just tried the first batch of feta. Not salty *grins*, but yummy already. And it lookest good in olive oil with Herbs de Provence:

Good for you! I'll bring my latest fav - a red from Argentina called Malbec. I think I saw some lovely Argentinian cabs, too... I'll bring that, as well. And I'll still bring white, since I tend to puke red after awhile (do you like how I blame the color instead of my overconsumption?!). It's the tannins, I think...

Wine, cheese, and good company. What more could someone ask for? If only...

You made me curious about the Malbec. Found a bottle, quite decently priced, and it says it's a flagship variety of Argentina. Hm. Am curious, but have to finish the rest of the Cab first before I open another one. So, possibly tomorrow. Or maybe I'll wait and share it with you. Muah! I can't wait! *squeeeeeeee*
