Horrible Weather

lady_kareliaThe last couple of days, it's been raining and storming, yuck, just the kind of weather that makes you want to stay in bed after one peek out the window. So that's what we've been doing, to Little One's disdain. I can tell he has my trait of wannabe gipsyness. Ha. There's a new word to ponder. Of course, Dorkboy would call that particular trait of ours 'being a tramp', but, honestly, I'm more sophisticated than that *smirk*.
I've reached well past the 5000 word mark of Chapter three and am nowhere near Spinner's End yet *looks_sheepish*. I know, I promised in my Author's Notes that he'll return in the next chapter, but how I'm going to wing that one, I have no idea. Of course, I could just keep writing until I get there, but that'll mean one heck of a long chapter, which I'm reluctant to do. I like my chapters of similar sizes. Not that I always accomplish that... Maybe it's time to have a glass of wine and a hot bath, and ponder this particular question. Dang! I need a water-proof writing board and pen, so I can scribble notes without the pen refusing to work the moment a drop of water hits it...
I'm keen to complete this chapter, so I can honour my promise of writing another chapter of Damage Control before the end of the year. Without Magic is kind of writing itself at the moment, though...
