I've just received my gift in the SSHGExchange. I'm absolutely floored, it is so, so, so, so awesome!

Date: 2006-07-03 01:44 pm (UTC)I, too, am enjoying the exchange so far. My favorite story thus far is the Seven Minutes in Heaven, but I've liked the others as well. What about you?

Date: 2006-07-03 02:40 pm (UTC)Yes, I like Seven Minutes in Heaven best, too, so far. I even have an idea on who the author is.
I also surprised myself how much I enjoyed The Best Gifts, normally I tend to stay away from stories that involve a child Hermione.

Date: 2006-07-02 06:10 pm (UTC)Are you still sweating over there?

Date: 2006-07-02 08:05 pm (UTC)Yeah, it's too hot to be legal, honestly. And now the blasted weather divinators have changed their opinion about rain, apparently it's staying away until Thursday! *grumble* They're about as reliable with their forecasts as Trelawney.

Date: 2006-07-02 11:01 pm (UTC)As for the weather, I'm honestly thinking about relocating to a milder climate. First we have a winter that does not want to leave and now it feels like living in a desert.

Date: 2006-07-02 11:09 pm (UTC)Weather: Yes, I wholeheartedly agree with you! Especially here in Aachen, it was a winter from hell, and apparently I missed the worst part when I escaped to the Southern US in February for six weeks. I know what desert life is like, having lived in Arizona, and let me tell ya, I'll take that any day over a hot day here in Germany...
I cleverly escaped the heat tonight by visiting the thermal baths. It's funny how sauna and steam baths followed by jumping in the ice pool calm and cool me, lol.
Btw, I'm reading your multi-chaptered story over on Ashwinder at the moment, am totally loving it!

Date: 2006-07-02 11:16 pm (UTC)I've lived in Scotland for a while. And although most people would say I'm nuts, I really miss the weather.
Berlin may not have had that much snow in winter but the storms were enough. And now you can barely stay outside for half an hour because of the heat.

Date: 2006-07-02 11:27 pm (UTC)You like to wear a cloak all year round? That's like my obsession with dressing in only black or white (well most of the time anyway):D

Date: 2006-07-02 11:41 pm (UTC)I would absolutely love to wear my cloak year round! It billows, as Dorkboy testified, too. But alas, come 17 celcius, it becomes a bother. And on the lower levels, comes the minus degrees, it's not warm enough.
And, ja, my entire wardrobe is black, and that is seriously bothersome in such unacceptable temperatures!
