I so wanna be in New York! It's no hotter than here, and chances are most buildings are air-conditioned *grumble*.

Pictures of a summer day in Cologne We set out expecting to visit the zoo because Little Man likes the zoo. However, once again we got side-tracked. Not that I mind one bit. Being able to escape into the cool climate of air-conditioned department stores was way better than walking around in the heat, panting like a dog and chasing drinking water. We wanted to take that charming choochoo train that was in service last time when we went to the chocolate museum. It did not appear to be running. However, there was so much going on in the square around the dome that we were perfectly content to just hang around there for a while, then had a bite to eat at Pizza Hut. That was before we found The Hard Rock Café, but oh well, it's a reason to visit again.

We also went to to our favourite music place where we got a fantastic deal on an electric guitar for his highness who is improving in leaps and bounds. It's actually not an ear sore anymore, yay. So now I'm left with having to put his acoustic guitar on ebay, but not until the weather cools down. And I had a go on the contrabass. Oh, my, that was exciting. It really does sound incredible! I really do want one.

it's not hot, it's like being in an oven. Today, here in Paris, it's 37° and tomorrow it's worse... well don't want to think about tomorrow :(

Oh gods, I normally envy anyone who lives in Paris, but no, not today! 37 degrees? *shudders* I thought 33 were bad enough here. And I think nobody is looking forward to tomorrow. I wonder where 40 will first...

Street Art is so cool. And yes it's hot and it does not look as if it would get much cooler any time soon *sigh*

Oh yeah, I love street art. Especially when it's as unexpected as it was yesterday. :-) And real good, too.

This heat sux as much as that extreme winter we've had. Although, right now, I'm wondering why I complained about the cold temperatures a few months ago, LOL.

Hm. The forecast for tomorrow here is 35. Now, considering that today was 31 and it actually hit 33, I'm kind of anticipating higher than 35. But Thursday, apparently, promises Thunderstorms and slightly cooler (32). Not that I believe the drivel that yahoomort calls weather forecast...
